By the time Vaibhav turned nine, his father enrolled him in a cricket academy in Samastipur, where his skills started turning heads. Despite financial struggles, Sanjeev did everything he could to support his son, even selling land to fund Vaibhav’s cricketing dream.
In cricket, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made a spectacular rise. His debut in the Ranji Trophy for Bihar made him the youngest Indian to do so since 1986, at just 12 years and 284 days of age. With 400 runs in just five games in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, he further demonstrated his skill and cemented his status as a remarkable talent.
One of his most remarkable feats came in a youth Test match against Australia U-19, where he smashed a 58-ball century, making him the youngest centurion in the history of competitive cricket. This blistering knock included 14 boundaries and four sixes, showcasing his fearless approach to the game.
