This blog is especially for those who do not have a big budget to spend on diets or gyms. Whether you are a housewife or a working woman looking to lose weight on a low budget and in the comfort of your own home, this guide will help you.

How to Start Weight Loss?

To start losing weight, you need to gradually bring changes to your lifestyle.

Morning Routine:

Start your day with a glass of lukewarm water mixed with lemon and honey.
If lemon causes knee pain or doesn’t suit you, you can try other morning drinks like jeera water, which are easily available on YouTube.
Stretching and Workout:

After 30 minutes of drinking water, begin with light stretching. Remember, whether you are a beginner or experienced, stretching is a must before workouts.
Start with waist exercises. You will find plenty of easy waist workouts on YouTube. Choose the simplest ones.

After waist exercises, move on to shoulder workouts, and then to legs. This sequence is important because waist exercises may include push-ups or hip dips, which can tire your shoulders. If you leave shoulders for later, you might skip them.
Initially, you may feel lazy or demotivated to complete the workout, but try your best to finish it. Remember, those teaching you on YouTube have years of practice. Don’t try to match their level immediately; otherwise, you won’t even complete one set. Gradually increase your capacity. As the saying goes, “Sehej pake so mitha hoye” (Slow and steady wins the race).

Workout Sequence:

Complete waist workouts first.
Take a 5-minute rest, then do shoulders.
After another 5-minute rest, do legs.
Hydration:

Drink lukewarm water during workouts. Avoid cold water because exercise generates heat in your stomach, aiding digestion. Cold water slows down the fat-loss process. Keep lukewarm water handy.

Walking Option:

If you don’t want to work out, you can start with just walking.

Post-Workout Diet

After working out, eat any seasonal fruit. This will prevent a sugar spike in your body.
If you are a diabetic, avoid fruits.

Meals

Breakfast:

Reduce your portion size. Start with salad, followed by a small bowl of dal, some vegetables, and one roti.

Eating salad first or in between your meal, and drinking leftover dal at the end, will help you feel full and prevent overeating.

Lunch:

Follow the same procedure as breakfast.

Evening Snack:

Have one fruit & Green tea with lemon and honey

Dinner:

Repeat the same meal pattern.
If you finish dinner by 8 PM, you will notice a difference in your weight within a month.

No Need for Foreign Ingredients

You don’t need any Foreign fruits, vegetables, or special diets. Everything can be done with basic, locally available foods.

Stay Motivated

Cravings for outside food will arise, but remember, “You are what you eat.” Looking good is important, but being healthy inside is even more crucial. Take care of your immunity.

Initially, it will be tough, but recall all the times people mocked your weight or the moments of embarrassment you faced. Remember the dresses you couldn’t wear at functions because of your weight. These memories will keep you motivated.
Final Words

Nothing in this world is impossible. Keep pushing yourself, and you will achieve your goals. 😊
